The Hairy Dog Concerts 2025

I didn't even know that derby had this venue. I will be visiting again the atmosphere was great, before going to the swiftageddon we had the opportunity to watch a live band called CAUZ and tbh they were pretty good and definitely did a good job at performing, the crowd did look like they were enjoying it. I will be coming here again for some more indie live Music.

A nice little venue for gigs. Good Sound. Friendly staff at the bar. Clean facilities - wifey said she hasn't seen such clean toilets at a gigging venue like this for a long time. Couldn't find much cheap/free car parking nearby but that's not the venues fault and doesn't deserve them losing a star. Good location for travel links though. Would go back for future gigs.

Went to see Libertines here: excellent venue! Pool and table football, burger bar and I recommend the rhubarb cider. Great night out

My favourite bar / venue in Derby! Always great music either on the jukebox, DJ, or live bands. Great selection of beer, cider, and spirits. Honestly, some of the friendliest people drink here, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

I go to the Hairy Dog regularly, they have a really good mix of bands on. Very fair prices and good atmosphere, staff are always pleasant. I usually see Laura there who is always extremely helpful and professional whenever I have anything that I need to ask,she always sorts it straight away and in a friendly manner. Overall,just a great venue all round.
