Bannerman's Bar Concerts

Old favourite pub with good beer and friendly staff. Had to sit at a table under the speaker though and couldn't hear a word anyone was saying, even though we were really close together. Difficult when it's a social event and not just a drinks night.

The staff was extremely rude and refused to sell us beer. It was the first time in our lives when something like that happened, we're not the type of people who would make any problems. We have strong suspicion that they didn't want to serve us because all of us were either non-British or non-white British. I know it sounds weird, but based on other reviews about non-British people who got kicked out of this bar I think the staff there is just extremely racist. Avoid at all cost!

Attending another great gig with Maiden Scotland. Bannermans is the best rock/ metal venue in Edinburgh. Drinks are varied and fairly priced. Thumbs up!
