The Bongo Club Concerts 2025

Bouncers are really pulling the racism card any time. Not tourist friendly at all. Please stay in a local pub and emerge with the locals. It is a good sound system but it is really not worth the money and time to spend there. Would never attend another rave there!

Look at all the reviews and what everyone is saying! 1 star because I had to leave a star. Awful venue, so often an awful turnout. Look out for their bouncer, Im not going to name him but im sure youll know who. Hes horrible and aggressive. Ive seen him shove people onto the concrete because they didn't pay for a ticket- not on and not at all professional- have him fired. Terrible venue and the worst member of staff I have ever encountered, 0 stars if I could.

Bouncers seem to always be spoiling for any provocation and are complete thugs especially the blonde tall guy with the beanie hat. Echo everyone else in saying avoid this place like the plague as the bouncers are likely to find any excuse to feed their ego and push you around If you are set on going here id recommend all in your party filming on approach and throughout for your own safety. Dont talk back even if the bouncers push and shove, get to a safe place and report to the police(police keep track of the pattern of behaviour by doormen) and also report them to the SIA who licence bouncers as you can report by venue.

Terrible at the door, no idea what it's like inside. 3 friends let in for free a woman and 2 guys. Got expected to pay £20 for 1 person (on a 2 for 1 deal). Why would I pay for 2 people when it's only me when my friends had got in for free? I'd literally had nothing to drink. Their excuse was that the system would only allow this amount, but let the others in free. Absolute joke. Stay well clear.

I Echo everything about the bouncers here. Was in Edinburgh for the weekend. Ended up here Friday night, entered without issue (bouncers were older and far more polite) and had a great time. Came back for more of the same on Saturday and was met with two bouncers who were on a massive power trip and I could tell we're likely bullied in school based on how they behaved to me and others in the que before me. I was told by one bouncer that he "don't like the look of you bruv" and that I was too old for the club, despite them then letting another lad in, who was part of my group, after me 10 years older than me. I think the older bouncers need to show the young lads the way as I don't think he would have been as lucky to get away with that sort of comment with someone with a shorter fuse. This lad will end up getting hurt or should someone take the accusations of discrimination that are starting to mount up on here seriously he'll end up unemployable.
