A Glasgow institution. Great music, chilled atmosphere and friendly vibes all round. Been countless times and recently went to a gig there, be warned it's a 300 people gig venue and a bit of a sweatbox.......which I like! Ha ha

Wasn’t sure upon entering at first, heard things and people say negative things, but it’s probably one of my favourite places now. Never had a problem with the bouncers, staff are lovely, and all round just a great atmosphere. Also watch out for the cleaners, they move at some speed 🏎️

Went there to see Dream Evil ,bands were great. Staff was really nice. Its a small venue, there are seats to sit on while waiting for the next band to play, the ventilation is good . The sound system is good. The perfect place for a metal/rock show. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Never thought I'd be leaving a review like this. I've always had a good night in the cathouse, I have been going since they had the unders nights back in 2004. Went to a karaoke room to start the night then down to the cathouse. They refused me entry because I didn't have ID, I'm 32. Every other person in my group was in their 30s and had ID. Even after I found a picture of my driving license on my phone they still didn't let me in. It's not even like any of us were drunk or behaving inappropriately. As a group in our 30s we aren't out at clubs as often these days, maybe a few times a year. This really spoiled our evening. I just can't believe that they wouldn't look at my ID on my phone or consider the age of everyone else in my group and rethink. I never brought my ID because I don't go out often and genuinely just forgot. Such a shame after all those great memories, I guess things change don't know if I'll go back.
