Went to Hampden for the first time in my life and I loved it the atmosphere was electric everyone jumping and chanting. We went vs n Ireland poor playing. It can’t take anything away from the stadium.

The atmosphere was good for Flower of Scotland, but the fans didn’t seem to have the team’s back when they needed it most. They lost 0-1 to Northern Ireland and the fans were not happy - understandably - but, surely, some encouragement would have been great. The stadium itself is old in style and quite nostalgic - a great retro stadium. Cool that it was where Zidane scored his famous goal in 2002

Was invited by Walking Football Scotland to take the tour of Hampden Park and what a fabulous tour. Lovely relaxed staff gave us the full tour and answered all our questions in a humours professional attitude. We also got to play on the astro pitch (yes, who knew there was one) which greatly enhanced the tour. Getting pitch side and walking up the steps was also magical. The canteen food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Just a fantastic tour well done all at Hampden for making the old guy very happy and bringing back so many memories..

Isn't the best stadium in the world. Can feel as if you are quite a distance away from the pitch due to the poor design. Thankfully our seats were decent. Kiosks are cashless. Good atmosphere due to the Tartan Army. Very friendly crowd + we've got John McGinn. Parking is limited. Reasonable public transport system in the area. Mount Florida Station can be quite a wait on the return.

Hampden Park Glasgow hosts the king of the North and South in the Scottish Football Association finals cup. What a cracker! While both teams gave a good account of themselves, Rangers emerged the better side, where they thrashed Aberdeen FC, one goal to nill. Immediately James put the ball behind the Aberdeen goalkeeper, and the noisy Rangers fans, as usual, ignite the stadium with fireworks. Rangers won the cup, making it their 33 cup in the series. After the match, the traffic was terrible and traumatising as we spent 52 minutes before navigating out from the emergency car park. Aside that, I enjoyed myself while inside Hampden Park. Returning to Hampden Park today for the match between Celtic and Aberdeen was indeed interesting. Celtic won 6 to 5 goals on penalty kicks. However, something happened 35 minutes into the match when the electronic scoreboard stopped working. Then, 15 minutes into the second half, it was restored. The pitch was well cared for but the steak pie was horrible compared to the one I ate the last time I visited. As expected, traffic is everywhere. Oh, the weather was calm and sunshine all through the match.
