Hatfield Park Concerts 2025

Such a beautiful place and grounds! We had a tour with Elizabeth where Queen Elizabeth I grew up. Elizabeth was a fantastic story teller and captivated our children with the history. The tour is around an hour and it's so worth it. We've lived in the area for a while and have never been! We were so surprised about the incredible history and lovely place in Hatfield house. The weather unfortunately was not nice when we were there so we couldn't see the Christmas lights but looking forward to going back.

Lovely park with a calming atmosphere. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the calming environment. The house is stunning but we didn’t go inside. The gardens are very well kept with robots mowing the lawns to keep them pristine. Lots of space to walk too.

A great park with really good walkways, unbelievable trees and nature, and interesting stories. Definitely worth the price. You could spend days here. I had to deduct one star due to the missing benches. There are a few benches around the entrance to the park, but if you go for a walk there is not a single bench around. Would have been really helpful for my 79 year old mother. I do believe there is enough space to place a few benches along the walkways.

The house was closed-- fairly common occurrence, I was told after I got there. Be sure to check the website, not Google, for the opening times. That said, the gardens and park are fantastic, worth the 25-min train ride from King's Cross. And the entrance is literally across the street from the station.

Beautiful and historic park surrounding the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I. Nearby is the historic town of St. Albans.
