The Spotlight Concerts 2024

The Spotlight is a wonderful theatre that offers a huge array of different shows and live events. I visit here several times a year for various types of shows. I've seen anything from psychic mediums to live bands, and even pantomimes here. They also have some great shows for children, too. We recently went along to watch Dinosaur Adventure Live, which was fantastic. I highly recommend checking out what the Spotlight have on for the coming months. It is a comfortable and clean theatre with a well stocked bar. They offer snacks as well as freshly made pizza! Great asset to the local area.

Watched a great tribute act "Essentially Cher" with great sound and a pretty good view of the stage from 90% of the seating. The only one small downside is the venue is completely cashless. Plenty of free parking is available.

Our first visit to Santas Grotto at The Spotlight. Well what an experience. The Santa was absolutely amazing. My boy is 8 and he has questioned SANTA !!! But on our visit here Santas chat with my boy was spot on . Everything that santa said was right about him as if he really knew him and his little face was amazed . He was fantastic !!!!!!!!! My little 3 year old enjoyed the visit too and loved her gift. I feel the gift for older children could be different . Would also be nice when booking that You book the time slot with the children names so when waiting and ready to go in to see the big man, childen would be called in by their names . Price was reasonable per child. £10 each Santas tree next to him could of been bigger too, with a nice background behind him . Room was nicely decorated. Thank you Spotlight

A little disappointed that the floor seats were not tiered, but i can understand seating plans change and the floor is sometimes used for different events. It should say this when booking the tickets though. Also really upset that kids were aloud to stand in the aisle waving their plastic wands around and hitting people, they were also standing at the front in front of seated people. Not one word was said or announced. I will be honest, this has put me off coming back but the venue is clean, great snack/drinks provision and a free car park for unlimited time. The customer service were very pleasant too on arrival.

Great venue with parking. Reasonably priced bar. Good seats and allowed to dance in the aisles. Staff were helpful and looking to see other acts there in the future.
