Love this little village with its sloping houses. Some very odd shapes and architecture but beautiful and a lovely walk through the square and streets.

Lavenham has to be seen to be believed. In the market place the historic Guild Hall is a must see. The building charts it's history as religious Guild Hall, prison and mortuary...... But it also displays superbly the history of this delightful place ....Wool played a major roll in the areas wealth and we were very lucky to meet Pauline who does a wonderful spinning demonstration on a Thursday.

Lovely village, historically significant. The Guildhall is open to visit and has a beautiful garden cafe/restaurant. Interesting independent small shops and cafes. Very impressive church with bookshop. Well worth a visit.

Finally got to visit this year as we missed it in 2022. Such a fabulous building with so much history woven through it. A very interesting place & definitely worth a visit. Good informative room guides too. A spinning demonstration was happening when we visited which was fascinating.
