Attended Leeds Festival Sunday (day ticket). Instructions for disabled access/entry were pretty straight forward as were the provisions put in place. However the event itself wasn't very well signposted or clear. The road closures were completely unnecessary and made navigating in and out extremely difficult. Once inside the price of everything was extortionate. As was the state of the place. The amount of litter and rubbish laying around was nothing short of disgusting. The behaviour of some attendees was questionable too. For example, no smoking in the tents and then people smoking without being "told off" for doing so. The Internet/ 5G access was terrible so it made it difficult to navigate to certain areas and stages. Few of the main stages were signposted therefore didn't know which was which and with no phone signal was unable to pull up the official app to locate where we needed to be. Certain stages were massively overcrowded to the point of health and safety could have been an issue had there been a medical emergency. The on site toilets were also disgusting. It was an experience but I would never return. They lined up all the coaches by the disabled parked cars making exiting the concert very difficult (again this wasn't well thought through).

Great grounds for CYC Scouts Challenge 23 camp this past weekend. Well managed and accessible grounds for large events.

What an absolutely beautiful, idyllic place! Clearly it's very busy with shows and festivals etc but it's awesome. We were lucky enough to walk around the place whilst marshalling at Endure 24 Leeds and it's stunning. Such a vast, wide open space and amazing, huge, old trees. We would love to go back foe a proper visit! 🙂

A large estate where you can go for long walks, sit in a few places, watch sheep and cows- loads of them. There is an estate office as well, and some information about the park/estate. There is a car park right at the end near the office. The grounds are open through the office, but I didn’t go there. A big pond inside the grounds too. Must visit.
