De Montfort Hall Concerts 2024-2025

Have been here a few times now and love the acoustics of the hall. The venue accommodates a lot of people to ensure a lively atmosphere. The one thing I would really want this place to address is the minimal toilet space, which means that during events, the interval isn't long enough to ensure everyone has their comfort break in plenty of time.

We visited this theatre to see a production of 'Carmen' along with a live orchestra. This was our first opera and we weren't quite sure what to expect. We'd definetly go to another one based upon our experience at De Montfort Hall. All staff and security were professional and friendly. The theatre was clean and comfortable. The particular performance we came to see was very impressive. We'd come back to this venue for sure.

Have visited for various events like professional music concerts, Christmas pantomimes, children's stage shows, and annual charity Menphys Christmas shows. I have sat in various seats in the hall and always had a great view and sound. Always have an adequate amount of venue staff to serve at the various bars and refreshments point. We arrive in advance of the event, to allow a little time to check e-tickets and routine bag check. Only negative is the long wait for the ladies but the queue goes down during the interval due to the number of toilets both upstairs and downstairs. Have been able to meet band members in the foyer area and or bar area downstairs after the concert without being rushed by venue staff or security.

Great venue. Visited to watch Diversity, all staff were friendly and welcoming, toilet facilities were clean and recommend using the main bar to buy any snacks and drinks which had space, staff and no queues and seating etc rather than the booth in the entrance which had a long queue.

Lovely listed building. Side seats still provided an excellent view. Staff were friendly and helpful as we were 10min late. Parking was easy to find. Was difficult leaving as everyone left at the same time. Overall great experience and will return
