I did the prison break and it was a great experience that I would normally recommend to others. However, upon arriving, every individual must sign a waiver (which I think is a bit extreme for an Escape Room, but I get that there may be legal reasons for it) which forces you to agree to them sending marketing materials. I understand you can unsubscribe at a later stage, but I feel quite strongly against being forced to hand over my email address to receive marketing.

We travelled for two hours to play here and it did not disappoint. We attended as a team of two to play Dr Watsons office. The room itself was very realistic with the puzzles very cleverly linked to the room. Our games master Lynn was wonderful. So friendly and polite, she really made our experience a brilliant one. Thank you! We will be back again.

I did the Horrible Histories room with my sisters and it was the worst escape room I’ve done in Liverpool. - When we entered the room, there was crisp wrappers and rubbish on the cupboard. The game master removed it, so I thought that was the worst of it, but I was wrong. - The audio system was really bad - you couldn’t hear what the game master was saying, so you had to leave each room to the central corridor to understand better. He kept saying to go back into the room, but the audio was so quiet. - In the final room, my sister accidentally dropped one of the clues down the side of a cupboard. We asked the game master repeatedly what we should do, but we got no response so we weren’t able to solve the rest of the room without it. - When we didn’t make it out of the room, the games master came to explain the puzzles. One of the main puzzles required a 4 digit code to unlock a box - every combination we tried, it didn’t work. The games master went through that puzzle, obtained the same answer as us and tried the lock and it didn’t work. He told us that the lock must be broken and that the pieces needed to solve the rest of the room were in that box. So, we would never have been able to escape regardless. - The games master told us that even 11 year olds could solve this room - I’m sure people can solve this room if the locks and puzzles actually work. It was extremely disappointing and I wouldn’t do another escape room here :(

I took part in the peaky blinders escape room as part of a hen do. It was chaotic to say the least. For the first bit we had to use our sense of smell but there was only one thing that actually smelt like what it was supposed to. For another part, I was determined we had the code correct but they said that it wasn't correct, only for 5 minutes later them tell us that it was correct. There were two bits at the end which were just completely broken. The first broken bit they ended up just over-riding for us. The second broken bit we just ended up guessing combinations until we got it right. When we re-joined our other group, they said that the sound in their room was also broken and that they were missing the correct number of coins so it wasn't just our room. Would not recommend.

Went today at 14th April 15:30 and was dealt with by Hannah, though our times were changed twice via phone call from them before that. The peaky blinders room was ok but it was really dark and not much to do inside. The voices of the brief come through the speakers really low and you could bearly hear it. We struggled after 15 mins and we got given a clue, we then needed further help and I ask and looked at the camera three times asking for a clue and heard no response. This was then followed by hearing Hannah speaking and laughing through the speaker for the entire duration of the escape room. We then opened a box and moved certain items to try move into another door and we’d done everything correct. Nothing opened. We then got hit with a clue to open a box we’d already opened. She then giggled and mocked us through the speaker to her friend (not knowing we could hear her) as to opening that box. She obviously wasn’t paying attention the whole time because after we got to the final section we found the clue and inputted it in to pop open the final door. It didn’t open. She then gave us the clue to do exactly what we had just done. She made us type in the code a second time which done absolutely nothing and she’d finally noticed we’d put in the right code and popped the door for us. Experience was awful, we’ve been to loads of escape rooms and because this was in the central of Liverpool One we expected it to be a certain standard but it’s very poorly done and Hannah was completely lifeless the entire time and made us never want to come back. Please tell her we can literally hear everything she’s saying. 1/5 rating.
