Hootananny Brixton Concerts

I been twice to this venue, in the summer it was so good as it has an outdoor area so is very chilled and good summer vibes but I also have been to an event in winter and the outdoor area is still great and the overall vibe has always been great. Inside is good as near the stage area is where all the people crowd around and the room is elongated so you get a good view of the stage everytime however is really cool that if you want to get away from the crowd but still kind of be inside the venue and listening to the music then you can go to the far back where they have like a chill area to sit down, play pool and chat. The only bad thing is that one of the toilets is so difficult to get to as is right next to the stage so if there is an event there will always be a big crowd to get through. Luckily there is a second toilet at the very back which is good.

I have stayed for a few days, it is very nice with many qualities and facilities. I found the following which I am putting here in detail 1. Kitchen - They have a very massive well-organized kitchen, where they provide you with free breakfast, and also an opportunity to cook yourself. They have put a naming system so you can put your stuff in your name and use it, fridge is also quite good for many people. 6 stores cooking range is very good for cooking large meals 2. Toillets/washroom - They have very well-organized toilets and washroom, some have hangers that seem lack of maintenance but are sort of ok and clean 3. Lounge - They have a big room lounge where you can sit on sofas and watch TV 4. Locker - they provide a quite secure way to put your valuable items in Locker with the key provided. That is very nice and easy to live here Cons I missed one thing about having a table to work at, in the previous hostel they have provided 6-8 people space to work from there, and was amazing. But here nobody put tables, I wish they could remove one sofa and make three people so professional can work. I left earlier than my checkout because I was not to work their Internet - They have a good internet connection but are limited to the lounge room and rooms, but does not work kitchen, outside and garden, which is very strange why so much limited internet, they just need to add a few wifi routers.

Great venue, and great music. The three performers on Saturday for Dynamite Disco were the best act I’ve seen this year. Dancing from start to finish - couldn’t recommend as a spot anymore. They have a great programme coming up also, so should be attending more!

Absolutely love this place. One of my favourite nights out in London by far. Live music is always great and such a rarity these days! Would really recommend for either a night out or a more chilled day at the pub.

Everything about this place is brilliant, the vibe, the community, the staff, it's just full of life! The music is spot on, loads of stuff for proper music lovers and just casual listeners. Good drinks selection and decent food, everything you need for a night
