Studio 338 Reviews

Went to a choir event here. The venue is huge and the staff are helpful and friendly. I would say however that it was very difficult to get to this venue. Travelled here via the o2 and with road works and traffic was a bit of a nightmare. If you were to walk from the O2 it is not the best walk especially when it is dark etc. They have a nice sizeable outdoor area with food stand but the night I was here there was only one stand open and there were limited options. It was also very expensive for basic burger and fries but I guess you don't really come for the grub! I would suggest you et before you go and just allow yourself plenty of time to get there and find the place if you have never been and make sure you have your ID!

Singles cost £9 and tasted like water, and 70p energy drinks were falsely advertised within red bull fridges for £3.50. Drink prices weren’t advertised on walls, which seems predatory. Building needs more air conditioning — any wall you saw was dripping. This is especially as not every bar offers free water but instead makes you pay for bottles. It’s mostly cash only, or there’s a cash machine with a £2 fee. Ear plugs weren’t readily available, despite immensely high volumes. The security team didn’t not communicate where they’d touch you before they did so. Several headliners didn’t turn up and there weren't any comms to tell us about changes. At one point, all lights came on and there was no music for roughly 5 mins whilst acts transitioned.

We turned up 10mins late and was forced to pay an additional £20 each on top of our £5.50 tickets, after entering the event we discovered tickets were still for sale online for £11 for the later entry. Place is obviously desperate for your money, no drink prices anywhere. New outdoor layout doesn’t come close to what they had before. Management needs a rethink because they’re loosing repeat customers.

I went to Zamna here (alone) as my very first rave, so here’s a review for any nervous first timers who might be spooked after reading all the bad reviews. I took a small bag, cash, and got there 3hrs after entry time (since most reviews said doors closed 4hrs after). Entering was pretty straightforward. You get your ID checked, then you get your bag searched, then your ID gets scanned at some machine and you go on in. The event wasnt too full so staff wasn’t pressed. Some security guards do look tough and like they’re expecting John Wick to crash in, but didn’t kick anyone out randomly and mostly paced on the outskirts. Drinks are definitely overpriced (£14 for a weak mixer). As a solo girl at her first rave, it was honestly much easier than expected. People generally leave you to vibe with the music and there were a few others on their own too. One security guard kept a close eye on me the whole time and even stepped in between me and a drunken guy who was a little too into the music and started bumping into people. I had to leave early but the time I spent there was much more chilled than the reviews led me to believe. Although a jam-packed event might’ve been different. I will say their website has zero helpful info, there was no reminder email or entry FAQ, and they aren’t responsive on their socials. Venue was pretty cool though so I’ll definitely be back to try again!

Fantastic club. Been a few times. Just went to the Bedrock event hosted by brilliant DJ John Digweed. Reach time I have been to 338 it's been wonderful. Of course drinks are not cheap... It's a nite club. Lol. They need to make money. The club has invested a lot of money into making a fantastic venue. Great beer garden as well for when you need to cool down. Enough bars to get drinks from. Security staff are friendly. I've never seen an issue. I highly recommend
