The Camden Club Concerts 2024

An intimate, welcoming venue. I saw 4 varied acts here, and had a properly entertaining night. I recommend the burgers. Looked great and I wished we had known instead of eating at Camden Lock. 🙈 Recommended place overall!

Music and performance itself was great! Start was delayed basically by an hour because the band and audience were not told until arrival that the entry was 18+, rather than the originally said 16+, so many people had to go home as they didn’t bring ID/were under 18 (they didn’t know they had to). High up member of staff was being patronising to band members as well and acted like we were supposed to know the restriction even when apparently the band had been told in their official email that it was 16+… ruined the mood for a while. Anyway, stream Like You Said by Kick.

Went here with my dad to see Casey Mcquillen. We got here as soon as the doors opened to try and get a seat (I have hyper mobility as it hurts to stand for long periods of time). We got a seat and while watching the first act (which was amazing) we were asked multiple times if we wanted any food or drink. They were quite expensive so we kept saying no. After the opening act was finished a gentleman (I assume the manager) asked us again if we wanted anything which we again said no thank you. He then said “nothing? Well maybe you should give up your table and chair for someone who is gonna buy something”. This is extremely rude and disrespectful. Clearly some training about hidden disabilities needs to be had here because I was extremely hurt to the point of us leaving. I also over heard the same man being extremely rude on the phone while I was making my to the toilet. Disgusting behaviour

What a fantastic hidden spot for drinks, chill and live music. Expect stage, table seating and good vibes. You don’t come here for a chit chat, you come here for the energy and vibes. Fully stocked bar and so nice to lean back and enjoy the experience. Bloody love it.

What a brilliant venue for live music! Very good pricing for the performers, made up for by slightly pricier drinks and food (tasty) for the punters. The sound guy knows what he's doing to get a good balance for everything from acoustic to heavy on the same billing.
