The Night Owl Reviews

WOW, in a long time we haven't enjoyed bottomless brunch this much, food seriously impressed, we'll definitely be back! Great value, across from Finsbury Park Station, staff friendly, cocktails are beautiful & made from the heart. The DJ really knows exactly how to pair the music with your food and drinks, perfect for a bottomless brunch to remember! Highlights were the jerk chicken, king prawns, plantain with a twist, rum punch, everything was just absolutely spot on, full of taste, even the salad on the side had a little special kick to it that you don't always expect. Highly recommend this executive chef @chefaleandro, he's smashed this menu.

I recently attended a reggae night at Club The Night Owl located near Finsbury Park Station, it is every 1st Sunday of the month and while the vibes and music were absolutely fantastic, the people very diverse and the music was the best slow reggae i have heard since my grandad past away. I cannot help but express my disappointment with the overall experience, largely due to the staff and the cleanliness of the venue. Let's start with the good: the reggae night at this club was truly peaceful and filled with amazing music that set a fantastic atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. However, my enjoyment was significantly spoiled by the extremely rude behaviour of some of the staff members. While there was one friendly lady who was genuinely helpful, the same cannot be said for the two men behind the bar. Their dismissive and disrespectful treatment to both women and men was shocking and completely unwarranted. The state of the tables was appalling. I didn't even bother taking a picture because it was clear that no one had bothered to clean them from 6pm i was there until 10pm the tables looked the same and pilled with more cups and food. There were over 20 cups piled up, It's disheartening to think that this may have been due to the demographics of the event, as it felt like a lack of respect for the reggae music community. What truly pushed me to write this review was the early closure of the bar at 9:30 PM, even though the event was scheduled to continue until 10 PM. I am a grown adult and should have the freedom to purchase a drink at 9.30pm. This left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with the staff's disregard for the customers and the business needing the money also. While Club The Night Owl may offer fantastic reggae nights with amazing vibes and music, the overall experience was marred by the rude staff, unclean tables, and an early bar closure. It's my hope that the management addresses these issues promptly to provide a more enjoyable and inclusive experience for all.

I was astonished by the talent of the Tuesday eve jazz musicians. For a jazz night, it’s slower and gentler, but the players know how to fill the space. It is also set up quite well sound-wise; my friend said the kit is great for singers.

Great spot for live music opposite Finsbury Park Underground station. Hadn't experienced live music for sometime. But Big Boss Man are top draw. The drummer began at a hectic pace and didn't let up. Fantastic!
