Prices vary upon entry. £5-£10 entry. Which you will have to pay another £5 if you step outside the club to come back in for "reentry fees." There is no hip-hop, rap, or afrobeats even though they advertise that they run it every weekend. That's simply just a lie. If pop music is for you, then great, filled with students, which is to be expected and drink vary for £7-£9. Not every floor is open, only one room is open. Honestly, cannot recommend the place as it was the deadest club I have ever been too which made me laugh in the end. Avoid avoid avoid.

Amazing venue. Had an evening out here and the place is so great: super versatile with lots of themed music rooms and big venue, perfect for big birthday party groups. Catered to many tastes of music and experience. They also do good at the venue so you won’t have to leave for munchies! Loved the disco room upstairs with all the glitter panelling. Really pretty and atmospheric venue. Loved the beer they had called E1 Brew Co. They also did a good range of other beers.

Bought tickets to go here on Tuesday night and when we arrived at the venue the whole place was in darkness and it was closed. Have tried to contact cargo through their Instagram page and their phone number as I am definitely entitled to a refund and I am being ignored despite them posting. I don’t understand why they’re advertising tickets on their website and allowing people to buy them when the venue isn’t even open.

We spent the weekend in Manchester and thought we’d have a gander at this nightclub on a Saturday as we’ve never been to it before. It was around 2am that we came here so either we missed the peak of the night or it’s just generally always that dead, but there was barely anyone here. For such a big building I don’t understand how there was literally no one here, it must have been less than 100 at the most!? Such a waste of space seeing as there were 3 floors with barely anyone there. The downstairs had old school r&b which I love, but there was no one down there so we made our way upstairs and up at the top was where people were, but again not many people and the music wasn’t all that. The drinks were surprisingly expensive considering the club seems to be aimed at students, it was £12 for a double vodka redbull! I definitely won’t be coming here again unless it’s an event of some sort…

Clubbing, relaxation, music, cocktails, spirits, beer etc doesn't get better than CARGO! Such a purely enjoyable evening at this beautiful "theatre of enjoyment". There is so much going on under this roof, located within the iconic Printworks in the very heart of Manchester City. Cargo is better experienced than explained. From the security at the entrance, to the beautiful bar one finds as one walks in, to the elaborate dance rooms spread across two floors within the building, the waiters and bartenders, the DJs, the cocktails, everything! This place is very decently managed, to say the least. Entry is free. Happy hour extends till 9pm. There is a bargain on cocktails and drinks too. Lovely club I must say!
