Manchester Academy Concerts 2024-2025

Went to see Tom Walker here. Really good smaller venue, sound quality and lights where great and I only had 5 people in front of me before the stage too so I was fairly close (this probably made the experience that little bit better) Didn't buy a drink so I can't comment on drinks unfortunately. The only reason I have rated 4 stars over 5 was because there was up to an hours wait before anything started once we were inside so it felt like forever waiting after waiting in the que outside for around an hour too. We left the venue very fast and safely though and still had a great time :) Loads of places to eat and drink outside the venue too that are all within walking distance

great venue and its nice to see artists play at a non o2 venue as it means you can get a beer for a half decent price! put more gigs on here however be mindful the acacdemy 2 is very small so can get very crowded!

(4 Beth Mcarthy's show) Layout of the place was a bit confusing but show was good, venue was small enough to be able to see the stage (if you're reasonably tall, unlike me) clearly from all angles and all distances. Sound too was good and not too loud. Was surprised crowd was so polite and didn't push at all! Def would come here again

Amazing gig, went to see skindred and P.O.D. the venue is awesome, very atmospheric and nice and easy to get up close and personal. Only thing I will mark it down on are the limited drink options and the fact the queues for the toilet are mega long due to the fact there is only one at ground level so between acts it gets a bit crazy. Apart from that though awesome venue

Fabio and Grooverider with the Outlook Orchestra. This was off the charts 💥💥 The godfathers of Drum and Bass. The venue is fantastic. Disabled visitors, the viewing balcony is fabulous. However, this very evening, I had the pleasure to in an area left to the stage, so close to the artists. Because of this, it completely changed my experience. I was in sheer bliss. To actually feel included, not hidden away. I danced my heart out. This was everything and more. My only issue is the security lack of awareness supporting disabled visitors, regardless of how busy they may appear to be. This venue is fabulous 🤎✨️
