A really fun and nice little location hidden just a short walk away from canal street. Really friendly staff, really well priced drinks. I absolutely would visit again if there was a good event on.

A decent live music venue. Good old stages upstairs and downstairs for local entertainment and small bands. Ideal for young up and coming local bands. Few drinks on tap werent available, which is always sad. Otherwise decent range of beers, ciders etc on tap and bottled. Loved the fairy lights and large bay windows. When visiting, service was mid tier at best. Upstairs team were solid, and friendly. Downstairs less so. For example, when attending performance, barman disappeared for half an hour. A few people (not us) waited around and went upstairs to be served. He eventually returned with, friends, who i doubt paid for the event, all were laughing at the bar while everyone was rather silent listening to the artist perform. All on our table (including those not in our group mentioned this). Other than this one outlier, had a rather enjoyable night. Would only return to see an act I enjoy and wouldn't just rock up here to see open mic nights etc.

Decent dive bar with live music. We went to see the Hawksmen for a tenner a ticket which was a bargain. Nice small intimate venue.
