RNCM (Royal Northern College of Music) Concerts 2025

Excellent, well organised venue. Civilised and efficient, good sightlines and acoustics . They don't host many things that are to my taste, unfortunately, but Joanne Shaw Taylor was a welcome exception.

It's not your typical venue for a concert, but it's so much better than a soulless arena. A decent bar and seating area outside the hall, which offered great acoustics and an intimate setting. I've been waiting years to see Glen Hansard, and it was fabulous.

What a wonderful facility...oh to be young again and maybe talented, I would love to attend this college on a bursary for playing the comb!. We attended the Mary Beard lecture and enjoyed drinks and snacks served by a brilliant young gentleman who truly enjoys working there. Lovely toilets with "individual " hand dryers topped off by state of the art theatre and smashing staff. Car parking after 5pm on Rosamond Street west is usually£5 but tonight free due to something going on with the equipment?. A lot of thought and money has gone into this facility which we will be checking out for future functions.

First time here. Nice venue, large stage and good sound. Just took a long time to get out if you are sat in the pits...close call for post 11pm trains from Piccadilly. But a great gig by a great singer with ballads and in face rock songs. Glen Hansard Thanks.

First time I've ever been here for a concert and had no idea what to expect. Most importantly, the acoustics in the theatre are superb (as you'd expect from a music college). One of the best sounding venues I've been to. Then there's the building itself - a really interesting design, 1970s architecture updated with contemporary touches, a really pleasant building to be in, so open and airy. Bar prices are reasonable, venue easily accessible by car or public transport. Such a good performance I didn't want to take any photos during because I was enjoying myself too much! A very memorable night and I hope to visit again.
