Great comedy club, great price, great service. Enjoyed the evening! Full Review... (Continued) The venue... It's a bit run down, and dark but that's fine, that's what is expected. It's great for what it is, it is a fantastic comedy venue. The building is more than adequate, and charming in its own way. Prices... Cannot complain, it's a great price for what you get. The drinks are superb and brought to you, ordered via an app. Check to make sure that you get what you ask for, but aside from a few mishaps, excellent service from the staff. And great ale, spirits, food. Service... Spot on. Given the environment and the venue type with the variety of people in the crowd/ building it's superb. The bouncers are friendly and organised, the bar staff are courteous, friendly and quick, and the compere was just as funny and great at crowd interaction. Food... It's not 5 star nor is it Michelin rated. But it's tasty and value for money. If you're hungry or fussy, eat before or after, and just enjoy the venue for what it is a drinking establishment with comedy. We had the food, it was tasty and enjoyable 2 courses, but it wasn't filling enough. But we also ordered many packets of nuts and crisps to fill up on All great service with the drinks! Did I mention the comedy?? The comedians we saw were funny. Great humour, not every joke was 5 star, but the overall comedy was great. Would watch them both again. And I'm sure they will be doing the rounds for some time. Very funny. Would definitely return to this venue, it was a great evening!

Lovely intimate atmosphere and really welcoming safe venue with very friendly staff- the security guys on the door total professionals, very friendly , thoughtful and pleasant. Great night of entertainment - winning format of Beat the Frog stand up open mike competition and if you are an amateur and going for it and can't make the 5 minute benchmark sure it was a positive for those who took part because of the inclusive friendly vibe coming from floor to stage.

Friendly staff, talented compere, reasonable drinks prices... Seating was a bit of a kerfuffle especially considering we'd been booked in for a party of 8, there weren't enough seats for our table and seeing the stage was a struggle for half of us. The comedians were pretty good but the sets were very short, like 15-20 mins for each of the 3 acts - didn't feel like there was much show between breaks & disclaimers. Ordering drinks was easy enough for me as I don't mind ordering off the app - the drinks came pretty quickly too, though I can see how this may not be everyone's idea of convenience.

Fantastic evening - Thursday 12 Oct. Incredible comedians right on point with their humour and the compere was excellent and very funny. The way they all handled that heckler was awesome. Fantastic night out if you like off the wall comedy. Will be back real soon

Really great experience here - great set up in the venue and easy to see the stage from (I’m pretty sure) anywhere across the ground floor at least. Ticket prices were great value, and the MC and the three comics were excellent. We had a fab time. It was great that we could order drinks and savoury food from the QR code on the table, allowing us to order things mid-performance. I would have loved for there to have been a few sweet options on the menu though - like a brownie, cake slice or cookie, just to satisfy my sugar cravings, that doesn’t require much prep or cooking! I had to run round the corner to ‘The Bakery’ before the show started just to get a snack.
