O2 City Hall, Newcastle Concerts 2026

I took my daughter to her first concert here. We saw Paloma Faith and absolutely loved every moment. The guests and staff were all so friendly and everything went perfectly well.

One of my favourite venues to watch bands. Great atmosphere and view both from the floor and the balcony if you prefer to sit. Only downside was the cost of the drinks and we couldn't pop out to get food.

Went to see Hawkwind, the venue is easily accessed, beer prices are ridiculous £8 a pint, I don't drink as I live in the middle of no where but the people I was with do, so we won't out before it was easier.... I had a great view of the stage and the sound levels were spot on. Parking can be a little hard to find but if there are car parks dotted around, all in all it was a good experience, and I'm looking forward to the next time I visit

The City Hall has always been a great venue and still is. It's just on the edge of the city centre and next to one of the universities. All of which means there's plenty of bars and eateries nearby. Bus routes and stations, the Metro and the railway station make travel easy and there's loads of taxis. The hall itself has good views of the stage. Security staff and serving staff were friendly and helpful.

Visited here on the 29th October 2023. Attended The Dead South concert. Was the best night of my life. Great group, music, atmosphere..also great staff, multiple bars, merchandise section (there was for this one anyway ). Got a lot closer than expected and even somewhere to leave coats and bags xx
