Strings Bar & Venue Concerts 2025

Hidden venue, not clear where the entrance is. Staircase to enter. Not disability accessible. Tickets said start at 7.30pm but that means doors opening time. Long wait before first set. Excessively loud which is unnecessary as small venue so could hear bands if volume less. The volume stops conversation as you can't hear those you are with. The bands make it a good experience. Saw MYRIAD. They were great.

Intimate room with a bar, balcony area and a performance stage for live music to a square dance floor that overspills into a well connected space for enjoying the atmosphere.

We discovered Strings when we saw China Crisis perform there. An absolutely excellent evening and impeccable performance from the band. A real treat to see and chat to the band in such a fantastic intimate atmosphere an venue..also a great bar and staff. We will certainly be following Strings more closely and will be back.

Fantastic mudic venue!. Saw a band Mad dog Mcrea last night. All I can say, brill venue , great staff, and one heck of a band. When are they back. ? .

This is a really good venue in the way it is laid out. Drinks aren't a rip-off and all of the Staff very friendly and helpful. Saturday night was packed to say goodbye after 3 years of the current line-up with over 50 people coming over from the Mainland. Sadly Sam is leaving as the most brilliant lead guitarist and who is the drummer is joining another Band. Stewart was at his absolute best as was all of the Band, Toby who always has a great smile on his face - so enjoying his playing and Acer who tends to hide in the background - was out front quite a bit of this great final night this year. Stewart, Toby and Acer will be back in the Spring with a new lead guitarist who has already played in a Foo's Tribute band and Stewart says that he very good and all his own equipment. He has got a big VOID to fill in the place of the Amazing 22 years old Sam Willis.
