Cornbury Park Concerts 2025

Lovely place to walk with the dogs. Have to keep the dogs to the path and don’t let them run too far as there are strict signs of keeping dogs away from deer. Beautiful scenery

Beautiful country estate in the heart of the Cotswolds. Wild deer roam the grounds and were seen this evening grazing happily in full view. 👍

I only know this place for the *WILDERNESS* Festival which always takes place at the beginning of August. The massive amount of red deer makes it worthwhile to roam away from the festival site and watch the amazing animals. There are lakes where you can swim and a lot of beautiful forests to wander around. Even as the festival is going on you can find some solitude if you want to - a beautiful place xx

My Nan and grandad used to live there and I used to stay with them. I walk my dog through the little park now.

We used a public footpath for a walk which ran around the estate. On arrival at the drive leading to the grand house, a large Range Rover drove towards us fast, showing little care and attention. It swerved past us and other walkers. We didn’t feel welcomed. The estate was cordoned off from walkers, the vista of the house and lakes couldn’t be seen from the footpath. Walkers were made to feel unwelcome. I was conscious of the class system, we the serfs walking through his lordships land. We passed a gate for cyclists and walkers which was too small for a bicycle to be able to pass through. The worst thing was the fact that the vast land around the houses was mowed, probably for animal grazing, when it could be rewilded and turned into an amazing wilderness, rather than a playground for hunting. This place represents everything that is wrong with society. Self serving rich landowners who are not reducing the impact of climate change, keeping the working class at bay and capitalising from them.
