Englefield Estate Reviews

The place was absolutely beautiful. I didn't visit the house. I was there for the Hozier concert. It was great, with no cues for the bar, food, or toilets. Not packed (I went on a Sunday) although I did lose my red beats headphones and a present a friend gave me on the day in an M&S bag, so if found, please let me know. I don't care if the headphones are broken. I would just like them back. Englefield have been great in trying to help me get them back, but no luck 😢 It was easy to get to reading station from London Paddington, but not easy to get to Englefield or leave as their isn't a taxi ride or bus ride service set up. That is something the organisers I think should look into. Especially as people are paying a lot to come to a concert or festival.

I bought tickets for Richard Ashcroft but I couldn't even see him as I had to leave at 19.00 because of the rail strike. Buses run once in a hour, very difficult to get to the venue and the most difficult to go from it if you use public transport. Organizers don't care about it. The venue from yesterday opened gates at 15.00 but first band began to play at 17.00. The question is what to do during 2 hours, I couldn't find any interesting things to do there... I've lost my money and time. Do I recommend Heritage Live Concerts? Sure, no

Went to see Hozier as part of the Heritage Live concerts. Fabulous day, brilliant evening. The estate provides a stunning location and backdrop to enjoy an event.

Vast land, lots of trees, hedges, few flowers, but we noticed how sterile of wild life the land is, we haven’t see any birds, small birds, no squirrels , maybe 2 red kites, absolutely nothing else, no insects, a handful of bees and bumble bees. Strange place, Englefield estate.

Brilliant for dog walking and riding. Love the snowman trail.
