The Embankment Concerts

Came here on a day out during a sunny day in May, overall it's a nice area to be. Ducks & Swans aplenty! Can't give it a five as there's is a issue with littering here, and the pathways aren't all that clean.

The Embankment is a large park area in Peterborough that extends to the River Nene on the Southern side and if often used for large-scale outdoor events, like the CAMRA Peterborough Beer Festival that I attended in August of 2023. It's ideal for events like this, and it was the nicest and best-organized marquee-based beer festival that I attended.

We enjoyed a stroll along the river embankment. It’s changed a lot over the last few years and I must say for the better.

Peterborough Beer festival - a regular event. Great night, live music, lots of beer and a large amount of food stalls.
