We had a fantastic time watching circus of horrors at pavilions. Staff were very friendly. Seating a bit old and a little hard but still a awsome place.

Acoustics are still good for a medium sized concert venue. There are lots of staff checking you in, and lots of exit routes. The seats, and decor, desperately need updating.

Its a big venue, decent bar but get there early. We arrived 30 mins before the show but the queue was enormous. We made it to the bar just in time as they closed 15 mins before the show started! At this time a lot of people were coming in and the queue outside was still huge. The overly loud, very frequent and rather angrily made announcements to get to your seats and the bar is closed etc was really weird. If you see a seated show, sit in the middle of the tiered seating for the best sound and view. It's a decent venue although the sound does tend to get lost in the expanse and seems slightly flat at times. I think a bit more organisation would have allowed the majority of folk to grab a beer and enjoy, rather than feel very rushed and like they wanted everyone out asap, because they didn't want to be there.

Watched the Plymouth Patriots game at the weekend, was a great game and the venue was brilliant. We managed to grab one of the last free parking spaces right outside, there were still a good few disabled spaces free (we arrived 1 hour before game start). We did not queue for long getting in with a quick bag search, worth reading the list of prohibited items, most is obvious but there are some items that could catch people out. All of the staff were really polite and helpful. The bar is very reasonably priced, I was expecting it to be a couple of quid extra for each drink (as you can't bring your own) but not at all. Floors are a bit sticky where we sat in the balcony, but the seats were comfy and most seats get a good view of the court.

Recently saw Micheal MacIntyre here who was good. 1 CHAIRs-The plymouth pavillions has the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. (I've sat in many a military truck, which i thought were the most painful seats. 2. STAFF very professional. 3. PARKING Omg difficult to find - We found parking a 10 min walk away. 4. EXIT - I was suprised they only opened 2 exits, as apposed to all the exits. I am just about to bookk tickets for another show and have actively avoid Plymouth Pavillions due to reasons 1 & 3 above.
