Sub89 Concerts 2024

Tiny venue but the energy you get at the concert was off the charts. Loses one star because security told me i couldn't sit down near the sound desk just after doors opened. There was hardly anyone around me and it wasn't like i was planning to sit there through the show. I've sat on the floor at the O2 in London and at other venues between acts and its never been an issue..smh

Great venue in the heart of Reading. The team here are excellent and we were served drinks pretty quickly even though it was busy, good value too. The sound is great with good view of stage. I saw Sham 69 on this occasion and look forward to going back.....The Kids Are United !!!

Central Reading music & comedy venue. Decent size for small gigs upstairs (is guess around 250-300 capacity upstairs. Good space with good eyelines from most points, but there are a couple of pillars near the front on either side. Worth staking out a spot just in front of one of those if you can. Beer selection was pretty good, but priced at London prices (as a lot of Reading is). Worth getting on the mailing list to see what's coming up.

First time visiting to see Pip Blom. Really liked the venue, nice size, nice beer and no queue for the ladies 😁

Nice venue in the heart of reading, was here for tonight's burlesque show. Great show with wonderful performances by the whole lineup, the venue itself well laid out, good bar, friendly staff all contributing to a wonderful evening.
