The Mess Room Concerts

Excellent venue, very friendly & well worth a vist. They have plenty of entertainment on, which is very reasonably priced & also some free events. Well worth popping in, if your visiting Skipton.

Attended the monthly open mic session, they just get better. Using the separate bar is much better allowing people to chat without distracting the performers, and more people can fit into the main venue. A couple of new staff on the bar are excellent as well.

Cracking little bar, warm and inviting. Staff brilliant, very quick service. Brilliant atmosphere and some brilliant beers, ciders etc on offer, the rhubarb cider went down very well. Good live music. We found it great and would recommend trying it out

Absolutely amazing first year of Mess Fest. Really good musicians and different genres which was good. Kept to the capacity and just didn’t let loads pile in so very well controlled. Pizzas were flying out and the drinks were flowing but most importantly, everybody looked to be having fun!

There several excellent micro bars in Skipton and this canal side bar is one of them. The interior is cosy whilst a large outside area is currently covered for protection from the elements. I had a lovely pint of Jericho Blond by Settle brewery. Had a lovely chat with friendly locals.
