The bookshop alehouse Concerts

Excellent Southampton pub about 20 minutes walk from St Mary's Stadium. Four cask beers on handpump when I visited. The pub which was previously a bookshop is adorned with hundreds of books many for sale. Unfined and vegan-friendly beers are clearly marked on the pump clips and blackboard. Not too busy before the Spurs game.

Excellence in how to run a micropub! Really friendly staff. Polite and professional. The locals were also very welcoming once I announced myself as an away (Blackpool) football supporter. So happy to have found this little gem of a pub in Southampton. A must when visiting the area.

Great place for locally brewed pints, a wide selection of pre loves books and a fun little quiz night every Sunday evening

Lovely place with a great choice of cask ales and craft beers and Eric says WOOF! in agreement. Thank you TBA for being so wonderful xxx (Don't sell food apart fromt crisps & peanuts etc, but you can get a takeaway elsewhere and eat it on the premises).

Great selection of ales and ciders, a proper welcome and ask for recommendations if unsure. Our destination of choice for some ales in Portswood. U can also buy a pizza next-door or a takeaway elsewhere and eat inside 😋
