King's Hall Concerts

AN IMPORTANT DAY I’ve had some precious moments of my life in this hall. On 15 Nov. I entered this hall first time to attend my graduation ceremony. I had never seen anything old and beautiful before but just in Hollywood movies. Now, whenever I pass through this hall, I remember some of my moments from that time. Beautiful venue. My band played there at an NHS staff awards ceremony for around 400 people. Sound was good, it was clean, toilets were clean and decent amount (I never waited) and the building itself, has some beautiful old features - really characterful.

Good venue for gig type events, good layout not too big but big enough to get a good atmosphere. The balconies are not the best as you can't see if people lean forward or stand up, which they do. The bars are big, unfortunately staff were slow. Security staff could be a bit more switched on. Parking and vehicle access immediately around the venue is abysmal, top tip get there early unless you know this part of Stoke well. It's OK.

Phenomenal performance from the musicians tonight!! And the candles made the ambiance really HEAVENLY!!! I will 💯 go to more of these EVENTS!! THANK YOU to everyone involved!

The staff are really welcoming and helpful, the venue is awesome with loads of history. However the hire costs are ridiculous and that includes cost to local charities, if the council want to empty the venues and drive future booking they are certainly going about it the right way. It's such a shame as this building needs to used and enjoyed by as many people as possible.
