St Gregory's Church Concerts 2025

We arrived in our motobikes and were made to feel really welcomed especially by a gentlemen called Tony who is one of the church wardens. The building is really beautiful and interesting. There is a really wonderful selection of misericords. But most importantly it's obvious this is a place where God is worshipped and all are welcome

Attended the Christmas Day service. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. It's a beautiful building too.

We came here to see the head of Simon Sudbury. We couldn’t see it, but as we left a lovely lady who volunteers at the church was walking up, saw our camera and asked if we’d like to see the head. It is in a locked room, so you would need to contact the church and arrange for a viewing. While we were there, some locals were hanging out at the entrance, but they were harmless.

Came here for Christmas Mass was a great service and the church was lovely. The ladies on the door were super friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome and the service was exactly what we hoped for. The church itself has some beautiful stained glass windows and heaters over the pews which helped with comfort.

Fabulous church now scaffolding taken down great refurb outside stood next to town hall which hold civil ceremonies and next to local market great shops even a bridal shop which have the most gorgeous dresses in there a town which is rich in local history
