Swansea Grand Theatre Concerts 2025

This theatre is very pretty in the auditorium. It feels quite intimate, but then it is only a 1,000 person capacity. The staff were friendly and helpful. The public areas are limited but adequate. Everything seems fresh since the refurbishment. We sat in the mid stalls. The space was just ok for me, but I am 6'5" tall. Overall a happy visit and hopefully, we will be returning soon.

There’s a lot going on in this theatre despite its small size, both amateur and professional performance. Me and my family really enjoy the amateur play performances done on the top floor, but the price is a bit steep for an hour long amateur performance. Other than that, there’s some great parking near by so it’s definitely a good attraction for Swansea.

Attended a recording of BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends presented by Clive Anderson. A wonderful evening with a wonderful roster of guests including Max Boyce, who was kind enough to have a picture with us at the end. I love this theatre. It's a community gem and wonderfully decorated for the Christmas holiday. Friendly staff and a superb history.

Nicely decorated theater, but the enjoyment is spoiled by the fact the seats are extremely small and far too close to the row in front. You have to sit with your legs wide apart and jammed against the row in front.☹

Great production as always - Cinderella - Kevin Johns 👏 Matt Edwards 👏 AJ and Curtis👏 Samantha Thomas 👏 Hillarious levels of entertainment and jokes for all. Love coming down from Bristol every year. Brilliant! Comfortable theatre. Great staging. Love it. All set to book for Jack and the Beanstalk in 2024! See you there!!
