The Patti Pavilion Concerts 2024

This Grand Old Dame, Donated to the people of Swansea by the World famous Dame Madame Adelina Patti, the great 19th century opera singer. Sadly it was sold off by Swansea Council to a private buyer. Which is now used to stage plays, shows and fairs, lots of live bands and tribute acts, also Private hire. The building is unique in design, with its curved roof top. and multi windows following the curvature of the building. The decor inside is quite dated, and in need of some updating. They have a bar inside selling alcohol and soft drinks The main entrance is awful and quite confusing when you first go there, with just a pull down shuttle door. It's great to see it being used, but I personally think it was donated to the people of Swansea, So by right it should still belong to us, Not sold off to the Indian restaurant next door. It sits inside the pretty Victoria Park, with its gardens, bowling green and tennis courts.

I've been to the Pav a few times now to see bands. It's a pretty good medium size venue. Good sightlines from most of the floor. Doesn't feel too crowded even for sold out shows and it's even possible to buy a drink from friendly and efficient staff without queuing for hours.

Was here for a winter ball. Great location on the waterfront and a very beautiful building. The room we were in was big enough to hold everyone without talking up space for the dance floor. Served a 3 course meal and the starter was nice, but the main was bland, cold and the chicken was mostly bone, the dessert was a slice of cheesecake that was rock solid and they gave us plastic forks which broke very easily.

Brilliant local venue with an ever increasing range of events. In the last six months I've attended gigs to wrestling and even a musical extravaganza! Really bringing something different to the city and bringing more and more well known names to Swansea. A much needed midsize place. Looking forward to going back at the end of the month for Bam Margera!

Absolute Bowie were brilliant. The thing that let's the place down is ..it's too cold there . Thankfully we could dance to warm ourselves up !
