Port A Bhaigh Campsite Concerts 2024

A fantastic campsite in a beautiful setting. So friendly and helpful. Showers, toilets, kitchen and laundry areas were all spotless. The campsite shop is one of the best stocked I have ever seen and it’s licensed to sell alcohol. Lots of lovely walks and cycle options. Lovely and easily accessible beach right on the campsite. Fantastic pub and restaurant next to the campsite with tasty fresh fish and other foods.

Excellent site with beautiful views. On-site shop was well stocked and licenced. Showers and toilets clean and modern. Microwave, kettle, washing machines available if required. Pub across the road (no dogs inside but fine to sit outside) serving meals. Scenic walks all around! The short trek from the main road takes about half an hour but it's well worth it. Visited in May and wasn't too busy yet.

Absolutely beautiful location, the woman who worked in the shop and checked us in was absolutely lovely and very flexible with us when we turned up in the morning without a booking before our day climbing. She let us get set up and settled before cycling to our climb, meaning we could relax when we got back and enjoy the evening. Hadn’t planned on staying the night at all but couldn’t resist the campsite once we saw it. The shop had everything we needed (see: didn’t plan on staying the night!) including some gorgeous duck eggs, and the pub was excellent too with great food. Will purposefully be back down this way, just what you want from a campsite. Great 4G throughout the site too and good WiFi in the pub. Handy wee fridge, microwave and kettle in the facilities block.

Well maintained campsite, with pitches overlooking the bay. The shop is well stocked and open epic hours. It's off the beaten track from the NC500, so not many big vans - the roads are great for cycling and walking. Assynt in the sunshine is extraordinary.

What a stunning location! I can't fault anything about this campsite....the view overlooking the bay is stunning, the hook up to electric was faultless and the little beach was perfect for my dog. My husband even got to paddle board and saw a seal! It's worth the drive for the views alone. The showers and loos are also clean, tidy and lovely and warm. The shop has everything you need too. I'm a complete novice at camping (albeit in a motorhome!) but this has really set the bar high for future camping trips. Will recommend to friends and family and hope to visit again one day.
