Walton Hall and Gardens Reviews

Did a loop from Hill Cliffe stopping is Walton Gardens before carrying on to the Reservoir. The beautiful gardens never fail to disappoint and we discovered the Forget You Not Garden which is such a lovely and peaceful place to remember loved ones. Everything is so beautifully kept and Walton Gardens has something for all ages. I brought my children here and now they bring their children. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard.

Nice place to be on a bright sunny day. Got a cool play area for the little ones and nice little zoo. The garden and walk are so calm and peaceful.

We had a lovely time on our Alpaca walk today, really friendly staff and learnt a lot about Alpacas during our walk! Topaz, Jim and Mal were very sweet and well behaved the entire time - definitely would recommend and would take part in again!

Went on a weekend and the ground and beautiful and the children's park is large and enjoyable. However it was extremely busy because there was a fun run. There was no indication that this was happening on the road leading up to the gardens. There was only parking spaces in the field and no where to turn around except for on the field due to it being so busy. Our car and many others sank into the mud and the AA were called out and groups of people were helping others get out of the mud. Lots if people agreed if we'd known there was a fun fun we would have turned around on the road and left before we got stuck in the field. Also no staff in the offices work at the weekend so when you called you get told to call in Monday. Communication to visitors would have solved these problems. Thank you to all the people who helped us get out of the field. If I'd been by myself with my kids we'd have had to have stayed the night.
