The Robert Bolt Theatre Concerts 2024

Our first visit to Waterside today to watch the Snow Queen and visit the animation exhibition. Fantastic show, lovely coffee and cake afterwards and we thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition. Will be back in 2024 as we saw some great events listed.

Wonderful and affordable venue for dance, music, theatre and the such. Bar cafe inside, along with a galley / installation space and black box theatre. Ramp access. Easy and frequent access via tram and bus. Some limited free local parking along with well lit multistorey. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Good range of artists visit the venue and ticket prices are very affordable.

Visited to see the Postman Pat exhibition, absolutely brilliant, it's only a small collection but it is amazing to see it. Reminiscing on my childhood of watching the TV show as a child. The exhibition is free to visit, there is a recommended donation of £1, which I happily put in the donation box.

The two exhibitions during March 2024 were interesting and well displayed. A cup of coffee in a nearby restaurant, followed by thirty minutes exploring the exhibitions occupied a morning successfully.

Great venue - very good acoustics, intimate seating area, accessible and reasonably priced bar. Easy parking nearby. Glad to have discovered this venue - will be back.
