Fantastic little venue that has some amazing acts. You're never far away from the action

First time at this venue and really love it. Went to see the comedian Paul Foot and its a very intimate performance as the stage is on the same level as the front row which leads to interaction like no other venue. Highly recommend this venue.

Another of the regions small venues punching above it's weight with some very good, well known acts in great surroundings. Excellently refurbished old cinema with bar and 150 (ish) seat auditorium. Enough capacity for plenty of atmosphere while still maintaining an intimate feel and connection with the act on stage.

Wonderful environment, helpful staff.. great acoustics in the lovely auditorium. Fabulous concert with Salt House, impressive performers. They were amazing..awesome music, personal stories brought everything more fully alive.

I live locally so of course I make the most of such an amazing facility on the doorstep, but really, what a great venue! Comedians, musicians, theatre, cinema, a bar upstairs and friendly staff. The main auditorium is old fashioned but perfectly good for a couple of hours movie or live entertainment. Bonus is you get to be very close to the stage. Some of the bands are pretty well known and some of the comedians are "off the telly". Punches well above its weight for a town the size of Pocklington.
