The National Centre for Early Music Concerts 2024-2025

Came here to watch the Candlelight tribute to Hans Zimmer. The venue is perfect in size, with a bar and multiple bathrooms available too. Once inside, the venue had been beautifully decorated with hundreds of electric candles, and the stage up front. The concert itself was breathtaking, and we will definitely be watching more candlelight concerts in the near future!

It was a lovely idyllic venue, set back away from the hustle and bustle of York. Great settings and faultless venue that played host such an interesting musical event. It would certainly make me come back. Price was reasonable from £20 to £34 Vairies, depending on which row you sat; therefore, see. Booking prior to arrival therefore not disappointed.

I watched the candlelight concert show there. It was amazing. Incredibly chilled and peaceful. Except the chair. If you’ve got a bad back I’m not sure you can sit over the whole show.

Superb venue, superb event. Exceeded my expectations by miles. The Candlelight String Quartet Queen Tribute was superb. 4 musicians at the top of their game, clearly enjoying the whole experience and captivating the audience from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

This performance was simply brilliant. There is something quite mesmerising about watching musicians doing their craft. Loved it 5*
