York Barbican Concerts 2024-2025

Nice location, convenient secure parking nearby, but for me (6' 2") there wasn't enough leg space to be comfortable for a 3 hour show. It was probably more cramped than a Ryanair flight. That aside, it's a great venue.

We saw Rob Lamberti and the seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room. The sound quality was very good. We certainly would return. We didn't buy anything there - the drinks are expensive.

Went to see 10 CC in concert there, excellent musicians, a great night had by all. A good venue with good clear view of stage.

This is a great venue for watching snooker. Queues to get in were ok, with the usual security checks you would expect. There were 2 bars offering a decent selection of drinks and snacks. One of the bars had hot food too. Once inside the main auditorium, the views of both tables are brilliant

Attending a rock concert in early spring, when it's freezing cold outside, but not offering the option of a wardrobe, seems quite odd. It seemed to be the choice of the artist, though, but still; what a mess. And how do you run out of certain alcoholic drinks just after the doors open ? Some of the staff were helpful and smiling, others not so much. An otherwise cute venue in the heart of a city sprawling with culture and history.
