Albany Civic Center Concerts 2024

Went to see Oliver Anthony. The music was great. The venue was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. Only negative was it is in Albany Ga.(very rough, dangerous town).

The graduation was ok. My granddaughter received her Bachelors in criminal law. We are so proud! It is time for a new Civic Center in Albany, GA. That place is so outdated. I am 66 years old, and my husband is 72. This place was packed, and we had to go completely to the top. He couldn't make it, and I thank God for the young man that helped him. I found a seat for him, and I continued to the very top. Those stairs were as if I was climbing a ladder.

Myself an a few more family members attended Maze featuring Frankie Beverly concert here . The band did a fantastic job . It’s always fun going down memory lane with the music you grew up with an love sung by the original artist. Sounding exactly like they did over 40 years ago. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly did just that . The crowd was definitely into every song, singing and dancing alone . The sound system was incredible the seating was spacious. Entering an exiting the civic center may have been a little time consuming. However safety is worth those extra measures. Security did a outstanding job of scanning each an every concert goer before entering . Albany Civic Center was very clean the ushers did a wonderful job . However leaving the parking lot was terrible. Security or traffic control wasn’t present for directing traffic. Very chaotic seen upon exiting the concert . Having to wait for traffic light to change before very few cars could exit before the event . That was a shame ! Very frustrating!!!!

I work as a part of the production/ management crew that toured through Albany, GA at the Albany Civic Center. After the event, one of my clients and I needed help with directions back to our hotel, just right around the corner. Amanda Simpson was an astounding staff member, as she assured our safety by escorting my client and I back to our hotel. This was indeed helpful, as we did happen to run into a few rowdy concert-goers along our route back to our hotel. Thank you so much for your patronage Officer Simpson!
