Tingley Coliseum Reviews

11/2023: Here for a 9-card boxing match that kept me entertained. I have visited Tingley Coliseum for a few events over the years.  This visit I was here for the Perez vs. Villa boxing event (VIP Style). *Stadium style seating and also upgraded seating for VIPs *Food and adult beverage places available.  Cash accepted, debit/credit card too *Ample parking available, but of course, there's a fee (price fluctuates depending on the event you're attending) *Area is well lit for night events (but always travel with a buddy) *Restrooms are hit or miss (Go in early, restrooms are clean) Be safe and enjoy your event in the Tingley Coliseum

State fair this particular time, it was family fun at the rodeo and concert after. I like the overall area and general arena. The line for liquor is unreasonable; 4 attendants for an entire side of the arena is ridiculous. I'm there for an event not to wait in line. We paid for a rodeo and concert, and I missed 15 minutes and 30 minutes each trip. (This is only liquor, not food and snacks) This type of event and venue has been figured out in many other places. Try a few things like more service providers, different companies, and vendors. There are lots of real and feasible possibilities. Families spend lots of money in these events, and a streamlined experience would be nice.

Came here for The Gathering of Nations pow-wow April 28-29 2023. Lots of parking at the coliseum however getting into the parking lot at gate 3 was a bit challenging and took us about 40 minutes waiting in the line on San Pedro st, my 2nd day (Saturday) i left early and did not have any problems waiting in line for parking...I did have to wait in long lines both days to get into yhe venue due to security check, the powwow takes all precautions for safety so they have a security check at the gate which included going thru a metal detector and getting wanded, once your in there was no problems. Lots of food vendors and 2 buildings of Indian artisans. The Grand Entry was SPECTACULAR and a sight to behold, its was definitely a "wow' moment to see 3 thousand plus first Nations peoples come together and enter the arena.

The seats are soooooo small. I'm 5'2 and my legs hurt from being squished. My husband is 6'2 and he was soooooo miserable. I needed handicap access and there is no seating. I shouldn't have to pay extra to sit in handicap seating area just because it is closer to the venue... No consideration at all for the handicap...
