Apopka Amphitheater Reviews

Attended the Holiday Pops free concert last night. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra played classic holiday music that is family-friendly. Truly enjoyed it and have decided to make it a holiday family tradition moving forward. Parking is a small issue. We had to walk a ways with all of our picnic gear. If bringing small kids, and that's great to do, sit out on the lawn and bring some toys.

Went for the Caribbean festival but have been here before for the Jerk festival. Lots of venues but the food we picked was the sunshine bakery which I think was a sponsor. They got my order wrong but was quick to fix the issue. Music was AMAZING. Didn't have VIP tickets but still enjoyed and felt close enough to the stage. If you don't have VIP I recommend bringing a chair but we were fine walking, dancing and mingling

Beautiful! How they have everything set up and the space that’s available is great! We weren’t allowed chairs, but tarps and blankets were acceptable, nothing short of amazing! Great concert, good food and drinks. Introduced to liquid death! Talk about a great can of water, doesn’t leave that weird plastic taste in your mouth. Lots of parking, be sure to arrive on time or at least park closest to the exit! Place gets crazy when the crowd gets unleashed. Definitely check this place out if you can. Will be back for another round of H20 and some good tunes🤙🏽

A nice place and building to hold an event in the Apopka area. The Apopka Amphitheater is an outdoor amphitheater located in Apopka, Florida, just north of Orlando at 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway. This is conveniently located off of State Road 436, making it easy to access the airport and other attractions in the area. It is part of a larger sports complex that has several baseball fields, hills, and lakes. It is an open-air structure with a capacity of over 5,000 people. Throughout the year it hosts a variety of events including concerts, festivals, and community events. I am told that during events there is also a free shuttle that runs between the amphitheater and the nearby Apopka City Center but I did not see running on the day I visited. There is a large parking lot that can accommodate over 1,000 vehicles. The parking lot is well-lit and secure but it is about 100 yards up a hill from the structure. Once again, I have heard that there is a free shuttle that runs between the parking lot and the amphitheater entrance but I did not see it in operation when I was there. Being open-air, it had the added benefit of catching a breeze from 3 different directions while providing nice shade. It was a little dirty with some trash left on the ground by the stage and the sound when other events are happening at nearby fields can make for some challenging acoustics. Overall, It is a very nice structure for events located in a very convenient location.

Watched Willie Nelson tonight. The audio wasn't very loud (people talking in the crowd were louder than the performers). It was a rainy weekend and very little was communicated about if chairs, umbrellas or coolers were allowed. The facility was clean very clean as always.
