Arcata Theatre Lounge Concerts 2025

I saw a good show here last night and the place was popping for a rainy Humboldt Sunday night! They were having problems with frozen kegs but the bartender was taking it all in stride. Retro theater vibe with good acoustics at center stage 👌

Been twice for their late September Sci-Fi night (Aliens and Terminator 2 Judgment Day, one year apart) and the movie going experience was unforgettable. Serves great food and the theater has a full service bar. Really great pre-shows with raffles Both showings I've been to sold custom posters for each movie, which I'm proud to say are hanging up on my wall. If you've got a Wednesday to burn in Arcata and love old Sci-fi movies, you NEED to come here! Smug's Pizza is right next door if you need a bite to eat while waiting in line.

This is more of a youth centered environment. I find it to be very punk in the atmosphere and most strongly recommended it for college students and adults who are into gritty aesthetics. I personally found it a bit too rough around the edges but occasionally they do a cool showing, as well as offering live bands.

Best movies, and since I started coming here I’m 3” thicker, 2” longer, and last 5 minutes longer. Your mom has never been happier!

Its a cool throw back to the early film and theater daze. Nice n cozy and kept clean. They have fun showings of old obscure films as well. We enjoyed it very much.
