Baronet Rooftop Reviews

The lobby is nice. Plenty of space to relax. A bar with live bands. There’s one pool table also. There’s a cafe to get coffee, espresso, muffins, snacks, etc. A bit pricey. Five bucks for a 12oz regular coffee. Regular candy bars are three bucks. Muffins are five dollars. Service was good. Never waited longer than a minute. The rooms are ok. Our fridge did not work so warm water it is. Bathrooms are nice. HOT water. Beds were not very comfy. It’s definitely a nice place but I just don’t think this TINY room is worth over 300 a night. Room is VERY small. This room is tight for 2 people. I could not imagine a family in one room. It’s not going to happen. You’re not paying for comfort here, you’re paying for the amenities. And you have to download an app to pay for parking.

I can’t say enough about this amazing Jersey Shore resort! It’s more than a hotel- it’s truly a resort where everything is at your fingertips- food, drinks, entertainment, relaxation- you don’t need to leave the resort to have an amazing time! The location is absolutely perfect. Beach, boardwalk, bars, music are just steps away. The pool is fantastic, the bars and the 24/7 snack bar are wonderful. The rooms are cool and comfortable. Most importantly, the customer service is outstanding. They message you before your stay and take requests! In a time where hotel chains are charging service fees to get early check-in or late check-out, the Asbury staff still treats you like a VIP!. I haven’t experienced the ballroom but I will certainly keep it in mind if ever planning an event. It is absolutely worth the $ to stay here- for a couples getaway or girls night out! There are a few other decent hotels in the area but Asbury is the best!

The location is great if you want to be close to the beach, Wonder Bar, and the Pony. However, the price ranges from high to unreasonably high depending on dates. The room was tiny with only a full-size bed. Service is slower than anticipated - checking in, breakfast, and the cocktail bar. So you're really paying a premium for the location. The lobby/bar is spacious with a fun atmosphere. At night, they have live bands, and its open to the public. The evening mood fits the overall Asbury vibe, which is appreciated. There are other amenities like the pool and rooftop movie nights, but at the end of the day, The Asbury Hotel is not a destination but a place to rest between the beach and nighlife.

Great location. Friendly staff. Queen room was really small. They need to add curtains so people can sleep when it's not dark outside. A lot of light came through the blinds. Also, no safe in room. I paid over 700 for two nights. For that price would have expected curtains and a safe. No drawers. Just shelves. Cheap looking furniture in room, but the bed was comfortable. Nice big lobby with books and games.

Beware! We just got married and spent the weekend in the panoramic sweet (which was over priced and windows were horrendously dirty so it was not a good value in anyway) in the Asbury hotel and I had booked my room block there. I had a few unfortunate and unsavory experiences during my stay with you. There were some issues with the room blocks that I had to intervene and mention that they were in fact giving better rates to people who went through Google than through my room block (which they hold you 90% financially accountable/responsible for any rooms within your block that aren’t taken and paid for you yourself will have to pay for in the end). The room block issues were rectified by Nicole before our arrival which we greatly appreciated. I again experienced another issue later on upon check in where the valet was extremely rude to my husband on the weekend of our wedding that we booked with you and I was very displeased to find out the valet is a third party and not much could be done. We were disrespected by him and had little to no help with loading our things or them holding the door open for us to get our things into the lobby for check in. It was upsetting struggling up the ramp with them not opening doors for us while lugging our luggage in etc. The only thing they could do for our poor experience was remove the parking fee which didn’t seem like enough for the level of discomfort and disrespect we were shown and how disappointed and dissatisfied we were coming away from that experience. Additionally, I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on a photo and video team that had a hard time doing our photo shoot in our panoramic suite room at the Asbury due to the massive pile of dirt that wasn’t mentioned at all in the process of booking which was a horrifically unsightly thing to look at in the background of all of our shots on top of that disgusting yellow streaks ran down all the windows obstructing most of the shots of the views in the background I am extremely dissatisfied. We were charged a resort amenities fee and there were no sinks other than the bathroom and no microwave in the rooms I found it to be severely lacking in resort like amenities especially with the lack of the usual things like the complimentary coffee in the lobby in the mornings etc. I travel with my fiancé often and stay at all sorts of beautiful resorts and hotels and what we experienced no newlywed should have to go through. The Panoramic sweet was way too over priced for the level of cleanliness and upkeep they put into it. I highly recommend you don’t book your wedding room blocks here, I would instead recommend the Berkeley or Airbnb makes a much better experience and the hosts in the area are all amazing to work with. The location here and the pool are the only reason I gave them two stars instead of one. It was extremely stressful dealing with them on an already high stress weekend. They’re too new and don’t have their ducks in a row quite yet. All our guests said they were displeased with how tight and cramped and small the rooms were too.
