A company refusing to give me my money back in exchange for giving them the tickets back unless a family member dies, I become sick, or my car is undriveable, is absolutely insane to me. What is the point of offering insurance on event tickets? I’m so sorry my family is in good health and I don’t drive a broken down car. If I make the choice of not wanting to go to an event when I’m in need of extra funds, that is on me and I should be able to get my own money back without having an issue in my life be “approved” by someone. They give 0 grace to their first time customers who had no clue the company would withhold your money from you unless your life meets THEIR definition of inconvenience.

Ticketmaster will not release tickets for transfer : (CMA) if you use another company to sell your tickets. They claim it’s the “event organizer” but they will allow you to sell them through their own service with no delay.

Ticketmaster has 0 customer service and make it virtually impossible to contact. On top of that they have no willingness to work with you as a customer to rectify a situation under any circumstance. Their policies are written and enforced in a way to make sure you are nothing but a $$ vs a valued customer. I had a situation where I was willing to eat the cost as my ticket was of greater value and they won't even take free money. Unfortunately they're borderline monopoly as a ticket vendor making it almost impossible to work with a reputable company that values your business.

Back in the day, Ticketmaster was the best. Now? Not so much. I purchased a ticket to the Usher concert in Las Vegas via PayPal... long story short, PayPal charged me twice (or Ticketmaster) someone did and when they refunded the charge to me (the 2nd one in error) it voided my ticket 🎟 to the concert. I already had paid for the ✈️, and hotel costs. I still went to Vegas but no concert and I was extremely disappointed... it was my 50th birthday present to me and was a bust on the concert. And when I looked at a ticket while in Vegas, the price was around $1,100. Just awful. Still working on trying to get my money back for the voided ticket.

$100+ service fee on 2 tickets is ridiculous. I bought 2 tickets for a concert at $576. The total with tax and fee was over $700.
