Underground Atlanta Reviews

We were on our way to see a concert and found this cool "Underground" area with a show and cool dancing and food trucks. Cool, happening spot in downtown Atlanta. This city does seem to be holding onto the whole 96' Olympics. Like, bro, it was almost 30 years ago. She's moved on. You should move on, too. The city was alive and vibrant with fun and adventure to be had. We moved down to where it appears the original city was built over. Streets, store fronts, and events were all happening under the city. Exploring the Underground was a unique and exciting experience.

Amazingly fabulous time seeing bands - Silly Goose, Actus Reus, Frigga Five, and The Asymptomatics. Awesome music, great show, tons of positive energy, got to meet most band members, and purchased lots signed merch from each band at the Masquerade in Hell. Go SUPPORT these BANDS and purchase their merchandise. Because I said "so."

This was a very nice hangout spot to visit, one of the historical site of Atlanta. They have a food truck park with lots of variety to choose from, we ate from D Good Good Food Truck and OH boy it was the BOOM we decided to give it a try cause they where the only food truck out there that seem to have different variety of food than the same ole tradition that every other food trucks out there sold. There was an event on that same day called The Everyday People which was lite. They presences of police, security guards, cameras just made us feel so comfortable and the underground strip itself was very clean as you see cleaners always doing their jobs. The presences of BUM's are very noticeable here but they do not harass you they just beg for money or food and you don't have to do any of that if you don't want to and besides if they try acting out they thrown out of the strip. Besides of all that we still enjoyed our trip out there I will give the Underground Atlanta 85 out of a 100 and hopefully D Good Good Food Truck is till out there 👌 🙂

I accompanied my daughter to a Punk Rock concert at Masquerade in heaven. The facility was clean. The ladies' restroom was fully stocked, functioning, and well-lit. There was security, metal detectors, and free water. The line to enter was orderly. I felt safe. That's most important in 2024. The reason for the four stars. I believe there should have been more signage for directions for the line to get in, which was inside the parking deck. We used Marta, so we walked two blocks, then inside the parking deck, because my daughter noticed the graffiti Masquerade sign. I frequented the Underground in the late 80s - 90s. It is no longer a bustling place as it once was.

Saw a metal show at The Inner Space as my son was in one of the bands. It's strange to see it now versus 20 years ago, but it is still quite fascinating to walk around and see the history. Lots of great art down there as well.
