Come and Take It Live Concerts 2024-2025

Went here for the first time last night. Excellent place as far as parking, access, and it is deceptively large inside. We entered and grabbed a drink then made our way to one of a few tables which was shocking. They need more! Then once the band started we moved close to the floor and the surprising thing was how the place opened up to a very large central area with a super cool slightly elevated area to watch. I absolutely have to get there earlier next time to grab a spot up there. Then I saw a huge area further up but couldn't see how it might be accessed. I saw like 4 people on the high area do I assume it's staff or vip area? Not sure if there was food, I can't see how. So I can't comment on that.

I can't imagine a worse place to see awesome bands. Was the layout designed by a blind architect? Do you hate seeing the band but only want to feel the music from behind wood - this is your spot. Imagine a log cabin with terrible sight lines but worse because there's no cozy fireplace just the disappointment of looking at endless wooden pillars in your way of the band you paid way too much to see. The best thing that could happen to this place is a tornado in the middle of the night where no one is hurt they just get a bunch of insurance money and build a proper venue not a national park visitor center pretending to be a club. This place is an embarrassment to Austin music scene.

Great venue. Killer sound and the house sound guy was really nice and great to work with. A bit younger but really knew his stuff. The whole vibe and look of the room was really nice, the community is clearly fortunate to have this venue here. The bar had a great full section also, the bar tenders were just a little serious but they were fast and professional. I really loved the views from upstairs also, nice Birds Eye view of the stage. Loved this venue & will definitely be back. The bartender was killing it all night. Drink prices were great. They have good parking & security info on their website. It probably gets tight if there's a live show but there was plenty of parking for the DJ set we went to. The smoking patio is pretty big.

The come and take it vibe is a little intense. But if you look past that it's an awesome venue with exposed wood decor and adorable lights that supports local rising artists. Which definitely gets brownie points in my book.
