I have been coming to see performances at Germania Insurance Amphitheater since it opened. The seating layout is nicely designed where you have chair backs along with a lawn and pit area. The place is large and packs in a lot of people. The seat views are great with some positioned at high points from the sides to way in the back. The visuals and sounds are determined by the stage setup but normally all concerts have sounded well. There are lots of food and drink choices and can even hang back on a huge lawn away from the crowds where still can listen and sometimes video showed on a screen. Parking has options where can park in Lot A (a long walk) or Lot C (shorter walk) but they have ways to help you around if need help. This night I saw Jelly Roll and it was a great show. This time I upgraded to sit in the Intel Technologies Tower Club. This is private area with options from bar, chair backs, and table seating. They have great vantage points of the stage and venue, luxury AC restrooms, and a private bar. Food was not provided here tonight but plenty of options at this venue. Rule of thumb is to get here early to enjoy the food options and relax before the music starts.

Terrible venue. If you even manage to get there… Entrance is not clearly indicated for taxis and you may get stuck in traffic. Your taxi bill will increase… The staff is also incompetent. Severe thunderstorms were announced days in advance for a Neil Young show but they waited 7:29pm, 1 minute before the start of the show, to cancel it. Meanwhile, every concerts goers were already here, some even in the venue without any proper shelter… For others, we were all waiting outside and only figured out it was canceled when we saw people going back to their cars. Staff stayed silent and didn’t give any informations about the proper procedure to exit the venue. Bottom line, don’t bother coming all the way for a concert at this venue.

Incredible venue. The sound and views cannot be beat. Lots of free parking if you're willing to hike about a mile to the entrance. It's not that bad, but wear comfy shoes. Concessions are expensive af but that's the norm. The craft beer tent has good options on tap, but it's gonna set you back like $15 per beer. You get a cool aluminum cup though. 🙃 The floor seats are okay if you are tall enough and want to stand for the entire show. Section 100 is hands down the best section to be in and worth the splurge on price. You get the option to sit without an obstructed view and the seats have cup holders 🙌 The downside is leaving after the show. Traffic is an absolute mess and it tries to force you to exit to the right. Make the U-Turn the first chance you get if you need easy access to 35S.

Went to see Ghost here and atmosphere was amazing. Very open, lots of vendors, lots of parking (have to walk a ways if you don't want to upgrade parking, wish I knew that). Ushers, employees, even the ones selling water were so nice and helpful as far as locating the restrooms or where our seats were located. Would definitely come back when concerts play at this venue. Well worth the drive from San Antonio.

Had a fun time in the pit at the Avenged sevenfold, Falling in Reverse, Kim Dracula concert. Venue has many food and drink items and despite long lines, moves really fast. Pit is not overcrowded like other venues. You literally have wiggle room despite being sold out. Love this venue!!
