A magical venue... I have nothing but love for this place. I enjoy seeing my favorite artists play there, and it's my preference if I have other options. Love the VIP sections. Beautiful & very clean. Staff has always been so very helpful. ❤️💚🖤💛, ~Athena~

Drinks are overpriced. THEY DO NOT HAVE BOTTLED WATER ON-SITE. Personally, I'm allergic to metal and cannot consume (liquid death) or any other canned item as I will go into anaphylaxis. There's no place in the venue itself to get an actual bottle of water. I ended up getting a cup of ice and letting it melt. Which is also pretty gross bc ppl like to put their arms down into ice, and that's a separate level of disgusting that I had to get over bc I was so freaking dehydrated! I did get a Topo chico in a plastic bottle but it does not quelch thirst the way water does due to the dry air bubbles. The Venue itself was nice. The larger women's bathroom was much better and cleaner than the smaller one near the entrance. The venue is handicap accessible for the physically impaired. The venue also supplies sign language interpreters (which is rare). The concession stand does not sell food just drinks. So keep that in mind when attending. However, during the event there were food vendors on-site to fill the void. The Austin Blues Festival concert was great! I highly recommend attending next year! NOTE: The Amphitheatre is right next to the trauma ER, there were a few life flights which kind of dampened the sounds of the concert but over all not terribly. I truly hope everyone life flighted over the course of Austin Blues Festival weekend is okay.

I saw the Goddess Janelle Monae and it was phenomenal!!! So many encores! Plus she bought people on stage and went into the audience. I love everything about her music, message, positivity, love and it was all at a great venue as long as the weather is good. Arrive early to find parking the Capitol parking garage which charges a $20 event parking fee. Or further away if you want to walk. Arrive early enough and you can walk to Schultz Bier Garten for a pretzel and a beer before. Which I did and it was amazing.

Great venue for a festival, with lawns as well as comfortable seating areas. Food and drink were plentiful and convenient.

Place is cool. Was close to sold out but didn't seem busy. Walked right up and got a drink. Wasn't excited about trying to go in front entrance, then being told you have to walk all the way around if you aren't VIP. But nothing really bad to say. Would see another show here.
