Jefferson Theatre Concerts 2024

11/09/23- saw “Who’s Live Anyway?”. Parking on the street and surrounding areas was plentiful. The reception by the staff was very efficient and patron friendly. The bar was manned well and the tenders were knocking out the drinks with speed. Seats were comfortable and the show started on time. Only criticism I have is the walk down/back up the stairs to the restroom. Being that I was recovering from a broken leg from several months ago, it was a bit trying. Unsure how the accommodations are for the truly disabled. All in all, an enjoyable experience!

So this theater is really pretty. Sound was great and being a bit smaller venue gave it an intimate feel that was fantastic. That said you need to be forewarned that leg room in this theater is less than spirit airlines. Like 6 inches from the back of the seat in front of it when seat is down. So long legs or thick legs will not find this experience comfortable at all. The seats were old school but comfy except for the leg room. Other than that the theater is beautifully preserved and quite beautiful.

Fantastic showing of “Phantom Of The Opera” tonight (10-14-23). Silent movies really are the way to go for pure entertainment. The downside this evening, was rude and inconsiderate patrons spoiling the film along with the after-performance souvenir photo camera. Fifteen minutes of making faces while others were waiting is bad manners for children and teenagers. However it’s exceedingly bad taste when perpetrated by adults in their 50s-60s! People blocking the screen, walking in front of an area one is trying to capture is the definition of entitled. This behavior has become a problem worldwide, not only here. Hopefully the next movie screening will have a more mature audience in attendance.

I didn't have a problem parking, I had to walk about 250', the venue was beautiful, clean, great staff, and the ballet superb.
